Do you give any canal boating tuition? Yes, we assign you your own trainer who will familiarse you with the operation of the canal boat and it's use. We will also provide you with the basics of canal lock operation and how to use them safely.
Can I leave my car at the marina? Yes, parking at the marina is free.
What are the canal boat crew options? Generally berth size donates the maximum number of persons allowed on the boat, so a six berth boat can be crewed by six people.
Where can I stop on the canals? You can moor anywhere on the towpath side of the canal, outside local inns or if you prefer,in a marina, providing you are not blocking other boats or in an area that prohibits it. Mooring pegs are provided for you in case there are no mooring points.
What about children and canals? Most canals are between three and five feet deep and for extra safety we provide lifejackets free of charge.
